Shopping around for celebrants might not be the most fun part of being engaged, but choosing the right one will have a serious impact on your big day and how well you prepare for it.

I’ve spent 30 years in commercial creativity, writing scripts for famous brands and directing actors of all abilities. I also coach creative storytelling and presentation skills.

  • Marriage Is a Contract

    Like most contracts there’s a lot of paperwork involved before, during and after the ceremony.

    Every registered marriage celebrant is authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law.

    We’ve all been trained to ensure everything is done by the book with no exceptions.

  • Wedding Must-Haves

    Outside of the documentation, informed consent, and a registered celebrant, your ceremony only needs to have three elements to satisfy the legal requirements:

    1) The couple recites the legal vows

    2) The celebrant recites an official phrase known as the ‘monitum’

    3) Two witnesses aged 18+ to co-sign the official documents.

  • The Rest Is Up To You

    Saying I do, exchanging rings, walking down the aisle, sharing a kiss - all of these elements most people would call ‘traditional’ are optional extras. By all means include them, but there’s no rule saying you have to have them.

I’ll work with you to create a joyous, personalised ceremony. Includes liaising with the venue and two drafts of your ceremony script.

Bespoke Ceremony

Legals, documentation and hyper-personalised ceremony. From $2000
